Inspirations: A blog about my life as a decorator, what inspires me and makes me smile.

Occasionally I joke with friends and peers about the hazards of being a decorator.  My experience lately has been in buying in multiples.  Hearing the phrase “what do you want for both of them” coming out of my mouth. Going to an antique shop for a client in search of a piece for their home is one of my favorite things to do!  One particular trip had me searching for a settee. The shop I was in did not have the perfect piece for my client but a couple of settees caught my eye, hence “what do you want for both of them”. I have every intention of selling these wonderful pieces to future clients..or maybe just get rid of one of them..maybe. Who am I kidding? Now I have to decide on fabrics to reupholster!
